Sean and his team undertook to completely rewire our 90 year old house over a period of about a month. (We did move out for most of that time) The work was done efficiently and professionally. It was all discussed and explained and contact was made while we were away. We returned to a tidy house and the sight of newly refurbished outside lights! All the new sites were plastered and ready for decoration. We recommend them most highly.

Our 1960s bungalow required a full rewire and the job was not going to be straightforward as it required moving the main board from the detached garage to the house. We had been badly let down by other contractors and Sean - SMK Electrical Services Ltd - was personally recommended to us with high praise. He and his team came to our rescue and did not disappoint. After our initial enquiry he spent time with us going through in detail what was needed, providing a detailed quote and timescale for the works. He is very much in demand but was able to accommodate us within a suitable time. Shortly before commencement of the work he visited again to finalize the details wth us. Due to the scale of the work we were required to move out for the 2 weeks that the job took to complete. Sean and his team worked in incredibly difficult conditions, working in searing heat as much of the wiring had to be run through the attic. He used WhatsApp to keep us abreast of progress with pictures and videos and on the few occasions that discussion or amendment was necessary his communications were very clear. We returned to find that he had engaged a plasterer to make good the chasing in and he and his Dad had thoroughly cleaned the house. Both of these were unexpected extra services. The wiring itself has been run neatly and various elements have been clearly labelled so that any future amendments can be done with minimum disruption. Within 24 hrs of completing the job Sean had sent us the necessary electrical and building regs certifications. All of this reflects the exceptional care and attention to detail which come as standard with Sean and his team's work. Being rewired is not fun but Sean and his team eased us through the process and did an excellent job. We are very happy to recommend SMK Electrical Services.

Installation of two double power sockets and moving wiring and sockets for Cat6, aerial and satellite. Brandon did a great job. The end result was spot on. He listened to what I wanted and talked about how to do it, checked with me and then got on with it. The work was neat for both the cables runs and sockets installed. He left the area clean and tidy afterwards. No complaints.
